NiSi “Natural Night Filter” Tests & Review
Northwest What was once slated to be a controversial subdivision is now a unique island preserve thanks to the Little Traverse Conservancy. Oden Island, located south of the village of Oden, juts out into Crooked Lake and is the home to large old-growth trees and fragile wetlands. When a developer proposed crowding 34 homes on the east half of the island, the Conservancy orchestrated a response in that included an outpouring of support and donations from communities and families to protect the natural side of the island. Today the acre preserve offers a parking area, nearly a mile of foot trails Heartland Tucked away on the east side of Alden, oblivious to most visitors who are mesmerized by Torch Lake to the west of town, is a small mountain with a short but interesting trail system. Coy Mountain Natural Area dates back to when Reuben Coy decided to preserve a ridge forested in virgin hardwoods that towered behind his gristmill. It was the last remnant of the giant maples and beeches in a region that had been heavily clear cut by loggers.
This gouge was made in Sheffield by Ward and Payne, highly respected makers of top quality edge tools throughout the 19th century. This one has a nice boxwood handle with a tight check. The bevel is currently incannel but it needs grinding so you could easily change it to outcannel if you wanted to. It’s in excellent condition with only light wear and a perfect blade.
It was made by the Johnstown, NY planemaker Scovil, probably in the s. This plane was made for E.

Paul Berry After building the product for Huffington Post, and owning the product and engineering groups at AOL after we were acquired, it was clear to me there was a huge gap between what the current CMS offering gave the world and what the world needed. Five years later we are at scale, moving the needle and doing to WordPress what Airbnb did to Craigslist. Social and Centralized WordPress, Drupal, and the custom CMS solutions of the world are all independent, non-connected instances that each need to be updated individually.
There are over 87 million instances of WordPress alone in the world, and each security upgrade, feature update, and every other single thing has to be updated for each site individually. By contrast, RebelMouse is a social, centralized platform built to keep up with the speed of the tech giants. Our updates are pushed out to all of our sites at once and sometimes even multiple times a day with content creation tools integrated directly into social APIs.
We can get clients off of clunky CMSs and into the future in a matter of days. We iterate with the times and tell you what’s changing in the world, how we’ve reacted to it, and how it’s built into the updates you get from the platform. Our creative agency team trains your teams or takes on special projects. And it doesn’t take months, it takes hours or days. We can suck up a WordPress site, optimize its page speed, the user experience, the balance of ads, and how you monetize.
We do it in our sleep now.

The movement to bring a regional cooperative food store to Littleton began in early The initial informational meeting, called by Co-op President Jeffrey Wheeler and Vice President Michael Claflin, drew an enthusiastic crowd of more than people from Littleton and surrounding towns in both New Hampshire and Vermont.

If you’re not familiar with my site, it’s simple, and you’ll love it or hate it: It’s not a fancy site but it remains unchanged since ’98 and I firmly believe, “if it ain’t broke – don’t fix it. Just click on any underlined text and it should open a picture; if you move your cursor over the pic and there’s a magnifying glass displayed instead of your cursor, click the pic and it will expand it to larger size. By it was gone from the catalog. I think Music Man is among the cream of the crop for American made guitars. Features include African mahogany body with high gloss poly finish, Music Man Modern tremolo with vintage bent steel saddles, 3-play black pickguard, This guitar is in beautiful condition, barely played, and with that great Musicman round back neck, feels perfect in the hand.

We are proud to claim that there are more cows in Lewis County than people—over 28, cows and approximately 27, people—and this has probably been true for a long, long time. Lewis County has unique geography. In a short drive you will find over miles of snowmobile trails, the only permitted ATV trail system in the state, and ample places to ski, horseback ride, bike, canoe, kayak, fish, and hunt.

Early Romantic Guitar Home Page These are the guitars in my collection, some of which are early romantic guitars, and some are not. There is not much overlap: As a player and musician, I find period replicas to be the best solution, especially for live performance situations. Playing an antique guitar is not for everyone; after all, how will your current guitar sound and play years from now?
Antique guitars have typically had many past repairs, everything is worn and aged, shrinkage effects, etc.. Also, the wood age means that even if you had Sor’s original guitar, it would not sound like it did back then, due to the effects of time wood shrinks, glue crystallizes, grooves wear, etc. A replica has a very different sound than the modern Spanish classical guitar, which some players find more suited to the music of its era. Replicas are also mechanically perfect and new, so that you can start making music and not go through restoration or compromising.
Also there is no reason to confine a quality instrument to 19th century guitar repertoire. A fine instrument sounds good on any style. Many players fuss too much over cedar vs. I have been amazed that replicas sound fantastic not only on 19th century repertoire, but also great playing Bach, Barrios, Albeniz, and Tarrega, modern music, or anything you like.
The Faulhornweg The Faulhornweg is Grindelwald’s best day hike. It starts and ends with public transport, taking most of the ascent out of the route and leaving a stunning hour ridge walk at above metres. Leave from Grindelwald train station, taking the train to Wilderswil metres, between Grindelwald and Interlaken. From here an historic cog railway pulls you up to the Schynige Platte metres.

NiSi Natural Night Filter Tests I recently purchased a NiSi Natural Night Filter, a filter designed to block certain wavelengths of light, namely those produced by sodium vapour and mercury vapour lamps. For simplicity sake, I will refer to this filter as the NNF from now on in the following review. In the animated GIF image below, you can see what a dramatic difference the filter makes!
Also check out the linked gallery above for some extensive side-by-side comparisons. The basic filter holder has room for three mm slide-in glass filters and it has a mechanism for attaching an 86mm slim multi-coated circular polarizer. The 86mm polarizing filter is actually included in the price and when mounted, there are small thumbwheels that let you rotate the polarizer independently of the main holder, very useful if you are using the polarizer in conjunction with, for example, a mm graduated ND.
In addition, the kit also includes four adapter rings so the holder system can be attached to lenses with 67mm, 72mm, 77mm and 82mm threads. The kit also comes with really nice and well fitted, hard leatherette case that has a magnetic closure, which has room for the holder with up to three filters mounted, the CPL filter and the four adapter rings. To get all those accessories with competing systems would generally require spending hundreds of dollars more, so the NiSi is quite a bargain!
With the NiSi holders, the glass filters are held in place with slight edge pressure, rather than pressure along the surface of the filter near the edges. In addition, this lower profile design may allow for slightly greater field-of-view with the mm square filters, useful when using wide angle lenses. The attachment point where the holder attaches to the adapter ring that screws onto your lens, is one other source of caution. While the machining is precise and the parts fit perfectly, the relatively tight fit means that it is a bit fiddly to attach and detach the holder from the adapter rings at times, especially when mounted on your lens.
A more sloppy connection point, as long as it locks positively, might actually be easier to use.

Getting Started Why Alchemy? Alchemy can be a bit daunting at first. You will need a decent amount of contribution points to have workers working at various nodes all over the map and a large storage space to storage everything. How do I Start? If you are unsure of how to find one, use the NPC window near your minimap and select Goods. This alchemy tool can be only installed in a residence so you will need to place your contribution points towards a residence and use the placement tool in your residence to set it down.
While you can set up the tool in any residence, I highly recommend you have a residence at No. Olvia has numerous Alchemy dailies that can level up your alchemy skill fast and this particular residence is right next to the Storage Manager, which is very handy since you will be storing most of your alchemy mats in the storage. Just like cooking, the Alchemy Tool also has a Continuous Production button where you place ingredients required for making 1 of the items and then click on the button to select how many times you want to repeat it.
Glish Introductory Alchemy Quest Glish has a series of introductory Alchemy quest you can follow along that teach you the very basics of making Pure Powder Reagent and Clear Liquid Reagent, the two key ingredients for almost all alchemy recipes. It gives quite a bit of Alchemy XP and should push you to Apprentice in Alchemy if you do all the quests in the series.
Alternatively you can gather it yourself by using Hoes on Wild Herbs.
