I am installing a whirlpool bathtub. The instructions say I have to plug the pump into a 15a v seperate circuit protected with GFCI, and the heater into a 15a v seperate circuit protected with gfci. I take it I have to run wires to my main service box. I notice that gfci circuit breakers are very expensive. Can I just install regular circuit breakers and hook them up to gfci sockets by my bathtub.
Thanks Usually a whirlpool bathtub requires a 20 amp circuit for each. You could use the receptacles as ground fault protection but they would need to be located away from the tub so that they could not be accessible by someone standing in the tub. I don’t know if this would pass inspection though as the inspector might consider this a bathroom receptacle. I usually use GFI switches for hydromassage bathtubs. They look like GFI receptacles but do not have the openings to plug something in.
The cost is just a little more than a GFI receptacle.

For example, all washers have an electric motor. All washers have both spin and agitate cycles. And since both cycles are driven by the same electric motor, all washers have some sort of mechanism to change between the two. All washers must also have a way of filling the tub with wash water and a way of draining out used wash water.
And incidental to this, all washers must have a way of controlling water level in the tub, to prevent spillage by overfill or by centrifugal force during the spin cycle. All washers must by law have a mechanism that brakes the spinning basket at the end of the spin cycle, or else a lid lock to prevent the lid from being opened during or shortly after the spin cycle.
And last but not least, all washers must have a timer that controls and coordinates the start, stop and duration of the various cycles. There is no pump operating at this time; the tub fills strictly from house pressure. Similarly, there is no heater in your washer; the heat comes from the water heater in your home. When the water in the tub reaches a certain level, a pressure switch closes the water solenoid valve s.
The transmission converts the rotary motion of the motor to the back-and-forth motion of the agitator.

Got to the point where the washing machine would over flow the lowest drain outside. Got the plumber to use the big metal eel and clear the sewer out to my boundary. And a few months later I was having the same problem. I allowed it to drain happened eventually and then put a bucket of water down the drain closest to my boundary. Dryer belts are often the first things that will go wrong with a dryer. When working on dryers always inspect the dryer belt and if it is cracked or any of the grooves are missing it is wise to go ahead and change it. Below are descriptions on how to replace a dryer belt along with dryer belt diagrams to help you understand how the belt connects. Note that the belt diagrams below are the view that you would see if looking from the back of the dryer.
With the exception of the first Whirlpool dryer belt diagram, it is the view from the front. Disconnect power from dryer. Open the door and remove the screws in the door pointing upward. Once done, the top will either lift up or you will be able to remove the entire top depending on how old the dryer is. Once the top is up, remove the two screws that point forward. That should allow the front to lean forward.
Lift the front up and remove it. Once the front is off you can reach under the tub and unhook the belt by pulling the idler pulley to the right.
